Access Queue Folders
You can access the Queue folders by using the Collection and Grouping folders pane.
What’s the difference between a Collection and a Grouping folder?
Collections - are default and/or custom folders set up by an Administrator. They contain jobs at different levels of your workflow that require some type of interaction from you. For example, the New Items default folder contains new jobs pending your review in the Queue.
Groupings - are automatically generated Collection subfolders configured as job properties by an administrator that represent metadata used in your company; for example, Customer ID, Account Number, Client, and Matter to name a few.
A number appears next to the folder that shows the number of jobs available for review. The number increases as jobs become available in the queue or decreases as jobs are processed and delivered to a destination.
-
Click any of the Collection or Grouping folders to view jobs; for example, New Items.
After selecting a queue and folder, you will continue the Queue workflow by using the following components.
Grid view
You can use the Grid view to view a list of jobs, metadata, and other parameters in a table format.

You can use the Preview window to view the document related to a job, navigate to other pages in the document search, zoom, print, download, copy, or open the document in a new window.

Understanding how the Restore button works
Use of the Apply (Save) button |
Use of the Restore button |
---|---|
Before using the Apply button |
Restores the job to its original state – No metadata changes typed in the boxes are saved. |
After using the Apply button |
Restores the job to the latest metadata changes applied if you selected the Apply button several times. Note: The Restore button does not function like Undo. Selecting the Restore button several times does not restore the job to its original state. |
Queue toolbar
You can use the toolbar to select:
-
Release to release jobs to a specified destination like an archive and remove the jobs from the queue.
-
Forward to forward jobs to a specified destination.
-
Reassign to reassign jobs by moving or copying the jobs to another queue.
-
Move to Process to move jobs to a Processed state which removes jobs from the queue.
-
Preview to preview jobs in a docked or undocked window.
