Configuring Folders
You can configure the following access to folders scenarios.
- Configure groups to access folder.
- Configure MFP devices to capture user credentials before accessing folders.
Configuring groups to access folders
You can configure groups to access folders by using Configuration > Groups. In order for users to access the folders, the Groups node must already be configured.
To configure groups to access folders

Start the Server Administrator.
- Expand the Server Administrator tree, if necessary.
- Click Configuration > Groups.

Right-click the group of interest and select Properties. The Groups Properties screen appears.

In the Folders tab, select Enable members of this group to select the specified Folders.

Select the Folders of interest from those configured and click OK.
Configuring MFP to capture user credentials
You can configure a MFP to capture user credential by using Configuration > Devices. This setting is only required for folders configured with user supplied credentials if available.
Note: Use this process if you want MFP users who select the Routing Sheet button to be prompted with a Login screen.
To configure the multifunction printer (MFP) to capture user credentials
- Start the Server Administrator.
- Expand the Server Administrator tree, if necessary.
- Expand the Devices node. Right-click the device of interest and select Properties. The Device Group Properties screen appears.

In the Buttons tab, select Routing Sheet and click Properties.

The Button Properties screen appears. In the General tab, select the Require authentication check box.

Select the Capture user password check box.

If you want the device user to be prompted to login when using this button, select Always prompt user for password.

Click OK and click OK again.
