Using the Venn Behaviour Wizard

The behaviour periods wizard segments Individuals based on the time periods and criteria selected, e.g. transactions in the last three years.

Open the create menu by pressing the + icon in the main navigation menu.
Select the Intersection option from the list of functions.
Select the Venn Behaviour Wizard.
The first page of the wizard is a description page. Press Next to go the time periods page.

Setting Venn behaviour time periods

Enter a number of time periods to determine the number of Venn sets (up to a maximum of 5).
Select the time period each Venn set covers from the dropdown menu, e.g. months to make each Venn set cover a month.
Choose if you want the period to be:
- Relative - time is calculated from the current timestamp, e.g. 1 segment might be June 2023 to June 2024.
- Calendar - the time period is based on the calendar, e.g. 1 segment covers Jan-01-2024 to Dec-31-2024.
Press the Next button to go to the Venn diagram page.

Select the table level for the Venn diagram from the dropdown menu.
Enter a start date. This will determine where your relative periods are calculated from or which calendar periods to count.
Select a date field to use in your Venn from the dropdown menu, e.g. subscribed date.
Optional: open the filter by pressing the pen icon and enter syntax for a filter to limit the records retrieved.
Press the Next button to go to the finish page.

When you have entered all your time and field info:

Give your Venn diagram a name.
Enter a description for your Venn.
Select a location to save your Venn diagram.

Tip: create folders and subfolders to organise your saved elements.
Press the Finish button.
