Using the Form Builder

This is an On Demand feature. If you would like more information about this feature, contact your customer success manager.

Forms, such as a newsletter sign-up form, preference centre, competition entry, etc. are a way of capturing and managing your data.

Use forms to:

  • Bring in new contacts.

  • Send personalised campaigns.

  • Ensure recipients are happy with what they receive.

  • Notify customers, etc.

For some example forms and how they may be built, refer to the examples section.

Form builder interface

Access the form builder from your workspace by:

  1. Opening the Workspace menu in the main nav bar.

The form builder has two tabs: Forms and Form Templates.

Forms

The forms tab displays a table of your existing forms.

  • Press the + Create Form button to add a new form to the table.

  • Select an existing form from the table to view its details.

The form details page has four tabs:

  • Overview - includes:

    • The general form information, such as Form ID, a Form URL or a Form Link,

    • The Form Elements used in the form, and

    • The form administration options (Create From Table Fields, Copy Form, and Delete Form).

Note: event statistics are not deleted if you delete a form.

  • Settings - view or change the settings you provide in the initial form creation.

Note: once a form is saved, the Core Table cannot be changed.

  • Actions - lists the actions associated to the form and their element (at a form or element level).

Note: any actions created in the Form Actions tab, will be form-level actions.

  • Preview - displays the rendered version of your form.

Tip: if you'd like a custom form built for you from our in-house Digital Design team, contact your customer success manager.
