Add to Program

When a form is submitted you may want to add the contact to an Automation Program; this allows you to send out a campaign to find out more about them and what they'd like to hear about, that can then determine what lists they are added to.

You can add a contact to a Program from a Form submit or by an Element, such as a checkbox, dependent on how you wish to manage the contact.

Form Level Action

Select the add to program option in the create menu of the actions tab and then select the Program you want to add it to. When the Form is submitted they will then begin that program.

Element Level Action

To add the action to an Element you will need to click on it and then go to the 'Actions' tab for the Element and follow the above procedure.

In addition to choosing the Program, you will also have to submit 'Condition Settings', that (if met) will add the contact to your program, these will vary depending on the Element you are attaching the Action to:

  • Text Box or Text Area: Require a Condition Type (Equals/Does Not Equal/Contains/Does Not Contain/Regexp) and Condition Value (value that condition checks for in the Form)
  • Checkbox: Box checked or unchecked
  • Radio or Select: The value provided
  • Hidden: None
