Automation Program Builder

Use the Adestra Automation Program Builder (APB) to build customer focused automation programs using a drag-and-drop canvas, simplifying working processes to send timely and relevant content.

Getting started with the APB

From your Workspace menu:

  1. Select Automation.

    The program table will show your existing automation programs.

  2. Select a program in the table to view or edit the program, or

    Press the + Create Program button to add a new program to the table.

Creating a new automation program

On the program creation form:

  1. Give the program a name. This is its identifier and should be memorable and relevant.

  2. Add a description (optional) - provide additional information for the use and purpose of your Program.

  3. Choose the owner of the Program using the Select User button. This defaults to you as the current user.

  4. Decide whether contacts should be able to go through the Program multiple times or just once.

  5. Select the core table that you wish to associate to the Program. This is the Core Table that contacts will be added to when they enter the Program.

  6. Press the Save button to add your program to the table and go to the program editor.

Tip: you can edit these settings at a later stage by opening a program and going to the Settings tab.

Building automation flows

Use the program editor to build detailed and personalised customer journeys. The core steps in building and managing a program are:

  1. Adding and editing stages.

  2. Publishing and testing a program.

  3. Managing contacts that enter your program.

Your automation program can be as simple or complicated as you need based on the steps you add, from creating a simple onboarding campaign to a nurturing program that utilises contact behaviour or a more complex system based on previous purchases.
