Deactivating an Altify Solution

Deactivating an Altify Solution has the following effects:

  • If the solution is a default solution of the relevant plan type, the solution continues to appear in account plans but is flagged as shown in the example below, and a tooltip (also shown in example below) indicates to your users that the solution has been marked as inactive. However, users can continue to plan against the solution.

  • In Account Manager plans, an inactive solution continues to appear in plans where it already exists. An inactive solution is flagged, as shown in the example below, and a tooltip (also shown in example below) indicates to your users that the solution has been marked as inactive. However, users can continue to plan against the solution.

  • Once a solution is made inactive, it can no longer be added to Account Manager plans.

  • Inactive solutions can continue to be added as default solutions in Altify AM Plan Types. They will appear in account plans (as shown above) but will not appear in Account Manager plans of that type.

  • Inactive solutions continue to be displayed in insight maps where they already exist, but can no longer be added on the Solutions row in an insight map.

To deactivate an Altify Solution, do the following:

  1. Open the Altify Solutions tab.
  2. Select the relevant solution in the list, and then click Edit.
  3. Clear the Active check box.

    Note: This field may need to be added to the Altify Solution object's page layout.

  4. Click Save.
