Add Current or Won Opportunities to an Intersection

This topic explains how to add current or won opportunities to an intersection on the opportunity map.

  1. Click the green current row or purple won row of the intersection.
  2. The intersection dialog opens. Make sure the Current or Won tab is open, depending on which type of opportunity you're adding.
  3. Click Add Current Opportunity or Add Won Opportunity.

  4. Search for the opportunities (from the relevant account) that you want to add to the intersection.

    5. Tip: If you are not seeing an opportunity that you expected to see, consider the following:

    • In a search for current opportunities, you see all matching opportunities, even those outside the date range of the account plan. In a search for won opportunities, you only see matching opportunities with a close date within the date range of the plan. You can update the account plan date range on the Targets tab in Settings.

    • Is the account included in your account plan? To check go to the Account Structure tab in Settings.

  5. Select the opportunities you want to add to the intersection.
  6. Click OK.

Bulk Opportunity Import

Bulk Opportunity Import is a way of adding multiple current and won opportunities to the opportunity map as a batch.

Opportunities with product line items

The opportunity map can be configured to handle opportunities with product line items by allocating portions of its value to the relevant solutions on the map.
