Edit a data view

Caution: Caution: You must have a clear understanding of the database schema to be able to manage data sources and views. Database schemas are blueprints of how the data is organized in the database. Analytics allows for great flexibility in managing the data sources and views but it is only recommended for users with knowledge and understanding of the database schemas and its administration.

To edit a data view:

1. Click Analytics Settings on the Analytics Menu and then click Data View. The Data View page displays a list of all available data views.

2. Click the hyperlink of the data view that you want to edit. The Edit View page displays.

3. Edit the information in the Basic Information section.

4. Click Next.

5. Edit the Schema Building information. You can edit the following:

   • Click Add Row to add a field to the schema.

   • Click the hyperlink of the field in the SQL Column Name column to edit the field.

   • Click check box next to the field and click Hide/Unhide to hide the field.

   • Click check box next to the field and click Delete to delete the field.

6. Click Update Schema.

7. Click Save.
