Configure Online Settings

If you are using Document Library Tagging, SharePoint High-Trust authorization is recommended. 

  1. Expand the SharePoint Online option.
  2. Choose a Security Model

    1. If you select a High Trust Certificate model, specify the following.


      1. If you are not using the Rules Engine Tagging feature, then Enable Synchronize MMS is optional.
      2. Enable Document Library tagging: Enable this checkbox to turn on document library tagging capabilities.
    2. If you select an App Only with User model, specify the following:


      1. Tenant Name: Enter the tenant Name
      2. SharePoint Root Uri: Enter the tenant Root Uri
      3. SharePoint Admin Uri: Enter the tenant Root Uri
      4. Authentication EndPoint: Enter the Authentication EndPoint
      5. Application Id: Enter the application id from the App Registration in Azure
      6. User: Enter a valid user name
      7. Password: Enter the user's password
      8. If you are not using the Rules Engine Tagging feature, then Enable Synchronize MMS is optional.
      9. Enable Document Library tagging: Enable this checkbox to turn on document library tagging capabilities.
    3. If you select an App Only with Certificate model, specify the following:


      1. Tenant Name: Enter the tenant Name
      2. SharePoint Root Uri: Enter the tenant Root Uri
      3. SharePoint Admin Uri: Enter the tenant Root Uri
      4. Authentication EndPoint: Enter the Authentication EndPoint
      5. Application Id: Enter the application ID from the Azure App Registration
      6. Application Certificate Name: Select and import the Certificate loaded in the Azure App registration. This will add the Certificate to the appropriate certificate store.
      7. If you are not using the Rules Engine Tagging feature, then Enable Synchronize MMS is optional.
      8. Enable Document Library tagging: Enable this checkbox to turn on document library tagging capabilities.
    4. User Model:


      1. Tenant Name: Enter the tenant Name
      2. SharePoint Root Uri: Enter the tenant Root URI
      3. SharePoint Admin Uri: Enter the tenant Root URI
      4. User: Enter a valid user name
      5. Password: Enter the user's password
      6. If you are not using the Rules Engine Tagging feature, then Enable Synchronize MMS is optional.
      7. Enable Document Library tagging: Enable this checkbox to turn on document library tagging capabilities.
