Configure Online Add-In App Package

Note: This step only applies when using the High Trust Security Model

Procedure:

Expand the app Add-In Package option:

  1. App Title: This is pre-populated from the Certificate Friendly Name.
  2. App Client Id: This is pre-populated and is the same as Issuer ID. This value must be used when registering the SharePoint Add-In App.
  3. Select App Package:
    Choose between:
    1. Classic: This is SharePoint Classic UI
    2. Modern: This is the SharePoint Modern UI
    3. Search Tags: This is a minimal UI without Menu Options
  4. Package the App. This packaged Add-In App is loaded into SharePoint in later documentation topics.
  5. Copy the download to a different location, if desired.
  6. Continue to the next topic.
