Configure Online Settings

  1. Expand the SharePoint Online option.
  2. Choose a Security Model. SharePoint online has four security models you can select:
    1. High Trust Certificate
    2. App Only with User
    3. App Only with Certificate
    4. User Password

  3. If you select the High Trust Certificate model, complete the following fields:
    1. Enable Synchronize MMS: Enable this checkbox to turn on MMS synchronization capabilities. If you are not using the Rules Engine Tagging feature, this field is optional.
  4. If you select the App Only with User model, complete the following fields:
    1. Tenant Name: Enter the tenant Name
    2. SharePoint Root Uri: Enter the tenant Root Uri
    3. SharePoint Admin Uri: Enter the tenant Root Uri
    4. Authentication EndPoint: Enter the Authentication EndPoint
    5. Application Id: Enter the application id from the App Registration in Azure
    6. User: Enter a valid user name
    7. Password: Enter the user's password
    8. Enable Synchronize MMS: Enable this checkbox to turn on MMS synchronization capabilities. If you are not using the Rules Engine Tagging feature, this field is optional.
  5. If you select the App Only with Certificate model, complete the following fields:
    1. Tenant Name: Enter the tenant Name
    2. SharePoint Root Uri: Enter the tenant Root Uri
    3. SharePoint Admin Uri: Enter the tenant Root Uri
    4. Authentication EndPoint: Enter the Authentication EndPoint
    5. Application Id: Enter the application ID from the Azure App Registration
    6. Application Certificate Name: Select and import the Certificate loaded in the Azure App registration. This will add the certificate to the appropriate certificate store.
    7. Enable Synchronize MMS: Enable this checkbox to turn on MMS synchronization capabilities. If you are not using the Rules Engine Tagging feature, this field is optional.
  6. If you select the User Password model, complete the following fields:
    1. Tenant Name: Enter the tenant Name
    2. SharePoint Root Uri: Enter the tenant Root URI
    3. SharePoint Admin Uri: Enter the tenant Root URI
    4. In the User field, enter a username (username/domain format) of an account that has been added to the SharePoint term store.
    5. In the Password field, enter the password for the user account.
    6. Enable Synchronize MMS: Enable this checkbox to turn on MMS synchronization capabilities. If you are not using the Rules Engine Tagging feature, this field is optional.
