Content Source
The Content Source page allows you to add new content sources and perform various actions on the content sources that you have already configured. Content sources can be the following:
- External, web service content, such as:
- SharePoint Online
- SharePoint On-Premise
- Documentum
- File Share
- OpenText
- Built-in database content, such as OLEDB-type databases:
- SQL
- Oracle

View your configured content sources in the content source dashboard | The content sources dashboard displays all of the content sources that you have already configured. The dashboard also displays various information about the content source including the title, connection, target, target index, sync status. Additionally, you can perform actions on the content source including starting a scheduled sync job, performing a full or incremental update on the target, and other administrative actions. |
Set up a new content source for indexing |
Specify the content info for content source that you wish to index. This will allow you to link the content in a repository to the BA Insight connector that you define. Once you have set up your content source, you can further enhance your content source in the following ways: |
