About the Documentum Connector

Features

The BA Insight OpenText Documentum Connector supports all Documentum versions up to version 7.1.

The BA Insight OpenText Documentum Connector is available in two versions:

• Version 3 uses the REST API to interact with Documentum. This topic is about version 3.
• Version 2 uses the DFC API to interact with Documentum. See Documentum v2: DFC API.

Security

Items secured with dm_world, and granted READ access, are indexed as PUBLIC (that is, no security) in the search engine.

Limitations

There are no known limitations for the Documentum connector.
