Install the Egynte Connector

All BA Insight connectors can be downloaded from the Upland Community under Knowledge > BA Insight > Product Downloads > Connectors.This connector is installed with the same generic steps as any BA Insight connector. You must satisfy the Prerequisites for your connector before installing. The configuration specifics are detailed below.

Connector-specific Installation Details

  1. Download the Egnyte connector from the Upland Right Answers Portal for your search index Contains data from your source system. Your search application instance (Elasticsearch, SharePoint Online, etc.) contains the search indexes. One search index per content source. and target A Target is a "pointer" to a specific instance of a search application, such as Elasticsearch. - (A Search application instance has one or more indexes) destination.

  2. Run the setup wizard and enter the necessary information into the corresponding fields when prompted.

    To use the Self-Signed High Trust Certificate Generation page the Site App Pool Account must be a local Admin to allow access to the Certificate Store.  Once the certificate has been created, the requirement can be removed.

    If you are using an X.509 Certificate from a Certificate Authority, this requirement is optional.

  3. Once installed, open IIS and expand Sites from the left side navigation.

  4. If you installed the Egnyte Connector successfully, it appears under the Sites category.
