How to Set Up and Configure Your Nuxeo Connector
All BA Insight connectors can be downloaded from Right Answers under Knowledge > BA Insight > Product Downloads > Connectors. This connector is installed with the same generic steps as any BA Insight connector. You must satisfy the Prerequisites for your connector before installing. The configuration specifics are detailed below. When finished, you must register the Nuxeo connector as an external application.
Connection Configuration Specifics
- In Connectivity Hub, Click Connections > New connection Connection defines the how Connectivity Hub connects to your Source System (which contains your documents, graphics, etc.,).
Your Connection includes identifying elements such as: URL of the BA Insight web service connector you are using, (File Share connector, SharePoint Online connector, etc.), Authentication mode, User Accounts and Credentials, Database information (for database connectors) > Web service connector.
- In the Authentication mode field, select the authentication type (Basic or oAuth Specifies a process for resource owners to authorize third-party access to their server resources without providing credentials.) from the drop-down list.
Configure Connection with Basic Authentication
- On your connection, select the General Settings tab:
- Complete the following fields:
- User Name: Specify the user name of the Nuxeo Administrator.
- Password: Enter the account password.
- Nuxeo URL: Enter the url of Your Nuxeo instance..
- Save the connection.
Configure the Connection with oAuth Authentication
- On your connection, select the General Settings tab:
- Complete the following fields:
- Nuxeo URL: Enter the URL of your Nuxeo instance..
- Nuxeo URL: Enter the URL of your Nuxeo instance..
- Save the connection.
Content Configuration Specifics
- On your connection, select the Content Filters tab:

- Select all document types you plan to crawl.
