Self-Service

Self-Service is where you find all the information about your services and assets assigned to yourself or those you manage. You can order services, add accessories or suspend a service. Self-service is also where you perform important cost transparency actions like confirm invoice accuracy or dispute a user statement. Self-Service is divided into two sections:

My Services

My Services lists all your devices, services, and assets. This is where you can order, disconnect, upgrade, transfer and view all your services and assets. It simplifies the management of both your own and your employee's current services and devices.

The Actions available in My Services must be configured by Cimpl. Actions are dependent on Service Type and Providers (e.g. the Upgrade action could be configured to only be available for mobile services and not others).

My Services and Requests

A lot of the available Actions create a Request. The Request Center is where you can find yours, or your employee's submitted service requests that were created in My Services. If you have pending Approvals or have submitted a Support Request, an icon appears on the My Services grid. Click on the icon to navigate to the Request Center and review the Request.

From My Services, you can submit service requests such as:

My User Statements

My User Statements is dedicated section for user statements. You can review all your user statements plus those of anyone you manage. This section is where you can review, confirm or dispute invoices for both yourself or any employees you manage.

Cimpl focuses on creating and maintaining cost transparency. All users can participate by confirming that the costs listed on their user statements are accurate.

It is best practice to review user statement charges to ensure that you are being charged for what you used.

The review of user statements helps address inconsistencies such as:

  • Incorrectly charged items.
  • Incorrectly assigned services.
  • Services which are no longer used.

Invoice vs. User Statement

Your organization will receive the invoice that includes a number of services, charges and devices all on one invoice. This invoice is broken down and organized for each individual service by Cimpl into User Statements. When you confirm or dispute your User Statement you are helping your organization determine the accuracy of the entire invoice they received.

As end-users of corporately owned assets, it is your responsibility to ensure the charges associated with your assets are accurate. Disputing User Statements is an easy way in Cimpl to communicate these inconsistencies to the person responsible.

From both My Services and My User Statements, you can:
