Edit/Delete a Project
Eclipse PPM users can edit any of the Project details at any time as per business needs. They can also delete a Project whenever needed.
Note: A Project's basic details can be seen on the "Profile" tab of a Project's Home page. Other Project characteristics can be edited through Project Configuration.

Editing a Project's Details
A Project's basic details can easily be edited from the Project Home page.

Tip: Eclipse PPM administrators have the ability to update multiple Projects at once using Bulk Update - Projects.
To edit a Project's details:
Before You Start: Eclipse PPM users will require the "Modify" Profile Details permission from the Project Policy to edit the Project's basic details.
- Navigate to a Project.

Click the Edit Project button:
OR
Select Details from the Project Menu drop-down menu:
From here, select the Edit Project button.

Edit the Project details.

Click the Save button.
After clicking Save, your changes to the Project will be finalized.
Deleting a Project
If a Project was created by mistake or if there is no longer a business need to keep it in Eclipse PPM, it can be deleted.
Caution: Deleted Projects (and the data associated with them) cannot be recovered. Ensure that there is no important information or data within the Project before deleting.
To delete a project:
Before You Start: Eclipse PPM users will require the "Project Administrator" permission on the Project Policy to delete the Project.

Navigate to the Project you would like to delete.

Select Delete Project from the Project Menu drop-down menu:

Select the "I understand and I still want to delete this project" checkbox under the warning message:
Caution: Just like the warning message indicates, deleted Projects cannot be recovered. Ensure that there is no important information or data within the Project before deleting.
- Click the Delete Project button.
After clicking Delete Project, the Project will no longer exist within Eclipse PPM. A success message will display in the upper right corner of the page:
