Scheduled Report process

A Scheduled Report process automatically generates a report on a set schedule and emails the report to a defined user in PDF or CSV format. This process will not work with dashboard reports or custom reports.

Reports with 1250 or fewer records in the report results will be sent. If the report contains over 1250 records the report will not be sent.

Example: A department manager needs to know how users are interacting with documents in the system. The Scheduled Report process can be configured to run the Document Activity report for the previous day and send it to the manager.

Configuration

  1. In the Automation Process Setup window, configure the process, then click OK. See Automation Process Setup for more information.
  2. Configure the Scheduled Report stencil in the Process Designer. See Scheduled Report stencil for more information.
  3. Configure the E-mail Report stencil in the Process Designer. See E-mail Report stencil for more information.
  4. Click Save.
