Site-OCR process

A Site-OCR process will process documents within defined projects and perform OCR on the documents so that they can be located during a full text search. Only 250 documents will be processed per scheduled run.

This process supports the following document format types: .bmp, .csv, .doc, .docx, .htm, .html, .jpg, .jpeg, .msg, .pdf, .png, .tif, .tiff, .txt, .xls, .xlsx.

Note: This process is not intended for a large back-log OCR job, such as a backlog of 500,000 documents.

Configuration

  1. In the Automation Process Setup window, configure the process, then click OK. See Automation Process Setup for more information.

  2. Configure the Find stencil in the Process Designer.
  3. Configure the OCR stencil in the Process Designer. See OCR Stencil for more information.
  4. Configure the Send Summary stencil in the Process Designer. See Notification Email stencil for more information.
  5. Click Save.
