About Billing Component

The Billing component extracts billing data from messages and populates a table in the HP CR Archive database with this information. The Billing component should be used for the Job Based Accounting function of the HP Access Control.

Note: The Billing component has to be enabled before you can start extracting billing data from messages.

You can have only one instance of this component. You cannot modify its settings.

Accessing the Billing component

To access the Billing component

1. Start the Server Administrator.
   On the Start menu, click HP Capture and Route > HP Capture and Route Server Administrator.

2. On the console, expand the Server Administrator tree.

3. Double-click Components. The Components are listed in the details pane.

4. Click Billing to open the Properties dialog box.
