Administrators can configure Intelligent Capture access using a third-party single sign-on (SSO) provider. Intelligent Capture is compatible with most SSO providers who are OpenID Connect compliant. SSO simplifies the user experience for end-users.

Any user that is assigned to a role with the Manage Tenant Options permission can modify tenant authentication options.

OpenID Connect is a standard protocol for web browser Single Sign-On (SSO). Enabling SSO eliminates all passwords used in Intelligent Capture and instead uses standard cryptography and digital signatures to pass a secure sign-in token from an identity provider to a SaaS application.

Requirements to work with Intelligent Capture SSO:

  • You MUST have an existing/configured SSO Identity Provider (IdP) that is OpenID Connect compliant.
  • You MUST have IT staff familiar with SSO/OpenID Connect with permissions to make changes to your Identity Provider. Intelligent Capture does not configure your identity provider. All documentation and configuration information should come from the identity provider.

Configure single sign-on authentication

  1. On the Navigation Menu, click Settings, then click Options.
  2. Click Edit.

  3. Select Single Sign-on (SSO) from the Type drop-down menu.
  4. Enter the Client ID and Authority. These settings are provided by your SSO identity provider.

  5. Click Save.
