App groups

Note: App groups are currently only available for sending messages through workflows.

App groups allow you to organize multiple apps into a single group so that you can message those apps together. Think of each app group as a brand. You'd want to group together the iOS and Android versions of the same app into a single app group. That way, you can message them both at the same time with the same workflow.

There is no limit to the number of apps you can combine into a single app group.

Tip: Worried about users active on multiple devices? We'll only target the message at the last device that user used. So wherever they last had a session or event—we'll message them there.
