Numbers that are not assigned to an mConnect are listed as Available in the mConnect column and have no status indicator. This may be a new number or a number that was previously assigned to an mConnect that has ended. You can use any available number for a new mConnect. For more information, see Adding a new mConnect.

Requesting a new VoIP number

If all of your VoIP numbers are either assigned to an mConnect or unavailable, you can request a new VoIP number for your company account.

To request a new VoIP number:

  • Submit a support ticket to mc_support@uplandsoftware.com with the following information:

    • How many VoIP numbers you need

    • The name of your company account

    • Whether the numbers are toll-free or local (if you are requesting a local number, include the local area code)
