Getting Started

OL Connect Automate is built on Node-RED. For general information about Node-RED, please refer to: nodered.org.

Before installing OL Connect Automate, review the System Requirements.

A Windows installer automatically installs the necessary components and the latest collection of OL Connect Automate nodes. Nodes can also be installed without using the installer. See Install OL Connect Automate for complete instructions on installing, configuring, and updating OL Connect Automate.

Once OL Connect Automate is installed, see Getting Started to learn about the interface, and then Design a flow to build your first workflow.

Refer to Best Practices for tips on using OL Connect resources, environment variables, script examples, and other useful information.

There is also a set of OL Connect Automate Tutorials that illustrate how to create workflows for various scenarios. These can be used as they are, or modified to meet your requirements.
