Managing Content within a Mailing (Asset Library)

Well organized content allows you to maintain brand integrity through the reuse of content assets, such as headers, footers and pre-configured templates.

The content management system is accessed through the settings menu. However, you can also manage your content within the asset library when creating your mailings.

  1. Create a mailing (or open an existing mailing).
  2. On the content tab, locate the asset library (on the right-hand side of the page).
  3. Expand the content menu to:

Upload content

  1. Hover over the upload content button to see a list of options: text, HTML, or image.

  2. Select the type of content you wish to upload.

  3. In the popup, press the browse button.

  4. Navigate to the location of your text, HTML, or image and open the file.

  5. Select a folder for your uploaded content.

  6. For HTML and text uploads, select an encoding type, e.g. UTF-8.

    For image uploads, enter alt text for the image.

  7. For text uploads, select the builder file type.

  8. Press the upload button.

Rename a folder

  1. Select the folder you wish to rename.

  2. Press the pencil icon.

  3. Enter a new name for the folder.

  4. Press the confirm button.

Copy the activated content folder

  1. Select the folder you wish to copy.

  2. Press the copy icon.

  3. Give the new folder a name.

  4. Press the save button.

    Note: the contents will also be copied to the new folder.

Delete the activated content folder

  1. Select the folder you wish to delete.

  2. Press the circled X icon.

  3. Press the confirm button.

Move the activated content folder

  1. Select the folder you wish to move.

  2. Press the move icon.

  3. Select a new location in the folder tree for the folder.

  4. Press the move button.

Download the activated content folder

  1. Select the folder you wish to download.

  2. Press the down arrow icon. Your download should start automatically. The folder will be saved to your designated download folder.

Create new folders

  1. Click on the Folder dropdown menu.
  2. Click on the Create New… option.
  3. Enter the folder name into the provided field.
  4. Click Create.

Manage files and images

Hover over an item within a folder to reveal action icons for that content.

  • Pencil - allows you to edit the details entered when uploading the content, e.g. change the alt text of an image.

  • Copy - allows you to duplicate the image within the folder.

  • Delete - allows you to delete the content from the folder.

  • Move - allows you to move the content to a different folder.

  • Download - downloads the individual content to your device.

  • Magnifier - allows you to preview the content as a recipient or view as an external link in a browser.
