Content Management

Well organized content allows you to maintain brand integrity through the reuse of content assets, such as headers, footers and pre-configured templates.

The content management system allows you to:

Tip: using content blocks provides an option to immediately push changes to recurring, drip and triggered mailings with content reference tags.
Note: the content management system is accessed through the settings menu. However, you can also manage your content within the asset library when creating your mailings.

Create a new folder

  1. On the settings tab, select the Content Management link to open the content manager.
  2. Select the parent folder where you want to place the new folder. This can be the root folder or a folder you have created.
  3. Press create folder.
  4. In the popup window, enter the folder name into the provided field.
  5. Press create. The content manager will automatically refresh, displaying the new folder in the directory.

Create new content

  1. On the settings tab, select the Content Management link to open the content manager.
  2. Select create content.
  3. Select from the following options:

    • Text
    • Dynamic Text
    • HTML
    • Dynamic HTML
    • Active HTML

  4. In the popup window, enter the content title into the file name field.
  5. Select a folder from the folder dropdown menu to store the content in.
  6. Create the content block, template or entire email creative per normal procedure.
  7. Press the save and close button.
  8. A confirmation message will appear. Press OK.

Upload content

Note: if uploading multiple files at once, place the files into a single folder and zip the folder. Each zipped folder should contain only one file type, e.g. one zipped folder for text content, to match the selected upload option.

  1. On the settings tab, select the Content Management link to open the content manager.
  2. Select upload content.
  3. Select from the following options:
    • HTML
    • Text
    • Image
  4. In the popup window, press the browse button.
  5. Select a file or zipped folder to upload.
  6. Select a folder from the folder dropdown menu to store the content in.
  7. Note: to assign an ALT Tag to an uploaded image, enter the tag into the Image ALT field. Please note that if uploading more than one image, PostUp will assign this tag to all images.

    Note: when uploading more than one image, users may select to Overwrite Existing Files with new or updated images.

  8. Press upload.

Manage content and folders

To delete, edit and move content and folders within your Content Management System, use the icons in the table.

    • Press the pencil to edit the content file or folder properties.
    • Press the red x to delete the content file or folder.
    • Press the gray navigation icon to move the content file or folder.
    • Press the blue arrow to download as a zip file.
