Set Up

Some email marketers come to us with specific needs. Others want help growing their program. Whether you have a mature email program or none at all, PostUp will assess your program’s current state and help you take it to the next level.

Settings

In the main navigation menu, you will find the settings tab. This is where you will find the PostUp configuration options. The settings are grouped into user settings and site settings.

Note: the exact list of options available will depend on your permissions. Some of the options listed below may not be visible in your view.

User Settings

  • Change my password - allows you to change your password.

  • My preferences - allows you to add a mobile phone number, set your time zone and view your privileges.

  • User management - allows you to view users on your application and create new users.

Site Settings

  • App exchange - allows you to view your connected apps, such as Google Analytics and Webtrends.

  • Approval groups - allows you to view and create approval groups for your sends.

  • Automated news alerts - allows you to view and create automated news alerts.

  • Brand management - allows you to view details of your brands. Only server admins can create brands.

  • Categories - allows you to view and create categories and manage your automatic link categorization.

  • Content management - allows you to manage your content library and create or upload content.

  • Custom fields - allows you to view and create custom fields.

  • Data triggers - allows you to view and create data triggers (server admins only).

  • Define action names - legacy settings that are no longer used.

  • Email commands - allows you to view and create email commands.

  • Encryption keys - allows you to create encryption keys.

  • FTP configurations - allows you to view and create remote connections for data transfer.

  • Google Analytics segment management - displays linked GA properties.

  • Import templates - allows you to create an import template.

  • Inventory management - allows you to view estimation and sample generation settings for lists, categories and sites.

  • Mailing alerts - allows you to create a mailing alert.

  • Policy management - allows you to create inventory and suppression policies.

  • Push applications - allows you to configure your push settings for apps.

  • Recipient location detection configuration - allows you to set how location detection is handled.

  • Response content - allows you to configure your response content.

  • Segment analytics configuration - allows you to set which dimensions are used for segment reporting.

  • Social networks - allows you to connect a company's social networks.

  • Substitution tags management - allows you to set values for substitution tags for the first name and name fields.

  • Web analytics domains - allows you to limit web analytics to specified domains.
