PowerSteering System Requirements

The system requirements mentioned in this article will enable PowerSteering to operate at an optimal level.

The following topics are covered:

Browser Support

PowerSteering supports the following internet browsers:

Note: Internet Explorer 11 has recently been removed from PowerSteering's list of supported browsers. PowerSteering will no longer offer support for issues that occur when Internet Explorer is used as the browser. Please see What has Happened to Internet Explorer 11? for more details.

Note: Browser add-ons may conflict with PowerSteering functionality.

While PowerSteering may still provide a similar experience on browsers other than those mentioned above, they are not supported and should be used at the discretion of the customer.

Users who access PowerSteering on Mac computers with small screens may have issues scrolling through tables. For example, such users may not be able to scroll through the list of work items on a Dashboard.
To remedy this issue, select the Apple Menu, System Preferences, and General. From here, ensure that "Show scroll bars" is set to Always:

On macOS Ventura, "Show scroll bars" is located in the Appearance menu.

Proxy Server Settings

If you are using a proxy server, your PowerSteering site needs to be set up as a ‘trusted site’ and set as an exception to the proxy.
