Actual Costs are the real expenses incurred by a work item as it progresses. These costs are not forecasted like Estimated Costs; they are based on real goods and services that have already been delivered. Actual Costs answer the question, "What has this project cost so far?"
Note: To see the Actual Costs page, "Control Cost" must be enabled from the work item's Standard Details. Additionally, users require the "View Costs" Project Task permission on the work item to view the page.
