Note: This page may be updated as new information becomes available.
The resolved issues in this release fall under the following categories:
Dashboards
A bug prevented users from grouping work items in the Dashboard by Program. When a user selected the "Program" column header and then selected "Group by", all of the work items would appear under the "None (Program)" group even though they belonged Programs.
This bug has been fixed; the "Group by" option will once again group each of the work items in the Dashboard by their Program.
Gated Work
A bug caused certain gates to display "Completed" statuses even though not all approvers had approved it. While the gate was "Awaiting Approval" from at least one of the designated approvers, it would still be automatically marked as "Completed". Gates are not expected to display a "Completed" status until every approver has approved it.
This bug has been fixed; gates will no longer be automatically given a "Completed" status without approval from each designated approver.
Measures
A bug prevented the Recalculate All button from calculating Measure values correctly. Certain users would press the Recalculate All button only for the certain Measure values to be incorrect. After running the Measure manually, the correct value would then be calculated.
This bug has been fixed; the correct Measure values will once again be calculated correctly when the Recalculate All button is pressed.
Logs
An error that was found in logs was recognized as a bug and fixed, it was related to UA Allocation cache data table that had some invalid values retrying to update constantly and flood the logs.
An error was found in logs after executing a reindex. The error has been fixed.
Metrics
A bug caused the "No instances were affected by the selected action" error to incorrectly appear after users attempted to perform Metric Bulk Actions:
This error should not have appeared because certain Metric instances were expected to be changed by the Metric Bulk Actions.
This bug has been fixed; users will no longer incorrectly receive this error after executing Metric Bulk Actions.
Project Central
A bug prevented users from editing the % Allocation for multiple Resources assignments. After editing the % Allocation of a Resource assignment, users were not able to edit the % Allocation for any more assignments.
This bug has been fixed; editing the % Allocation for a Resource assignment will no longer prevent users from editing the % Allocation of other assignments.
The Project Central page and the Resource Review page would display different availability values. Availability values are expected to be the same no matter what page they are viewed on.
An investigation into this issue found that it occurred because the Resource Review page would exclude "Canceled" work items from Availability calculations while the Project Central page would not, leading to different calculations.
To remedy this issue, a new "Include Canceled projects" checkbox has been added to the Project Central filters:
Selecting this checkbox will include "Canceled" work items in Availability calculations.
Also, a new "Display Canceled projects" checkbox has been added as a "Display" option for the Resource Review page:
Selecting this checkbox will also include "Canceled" work items in Availability calculations.
Reports
A bug caused the "Could not email report on schedule" to appear when users selected certain PowerSteering Reports:
This bug has been fixed; this warning will no longer appear and Reports will be emailed on schedule.
Tags
A bug prevented users from opening up Hierarchical Tags after searching for Tag values. Once users made use of the Tag's search bar, some of the icons would no longer appear. This would prevent users from accessing Tag values down the hierarchy.
This bug has been fixed; users can once again access Tag values down the hierarchy after using the search bar.
Templates
The option to edit a work template's administrators was missing from PowerSteering. Users were able to determine the template administrators while creating the work template, but there was no way to select them while editing.
With this update, users can now determine the template's administrators while editing the work template. The "Administrators" Configuration field can be used to select administrators:
Note: Users selected as template administrators will have the ability to edit the work template. Only users with the "Work Template Administration" Context permission can be selected.
Work Generation
A bug prevented the "Message when generation is not ok" from appearing on the Summary page when Work Generation was not ok. When generation was not permitted, users would not see the message when they hovered their cursor over the grayed-out template from the "Generate Work" drop-down menu. The message is expected to appear whenever users hover over the menu item.
This bug has been fixed; the "Message when generation is not ok" will once again appear when users hover over the grayed-out menu items.
A bug prevented the Remain here / Go to newly created window from appearing after users successfully completed Work Generation.
After a successful completion, users are expected to be prompted to either remain on the Summary page of the source work or navigate to the Summary page of the newly-generated work item:
However, this window would not appear and users would remain on the Summary page of the source work.
This bug has been fixed; the Remain here / Go to newly created window will once again appear after completing Work Generation.
