Modifying Registered User Properties

You can modify the Upland AccuRouteproperties for registered users by using the Server Administrator > Registered Users node.

To modify the properties for a registered user

Start the Server Administrator.
On the Start menu, click Upland AccuRoute > Upland AccuRoute Server Administrator.
On the console, expand the Server Administrator tree.
Click Registered Users. The users are listed in the details pane.
Double-click the user name whose properties you want to modify. The Properties page opens.
Click AccuRoute option.
To override the AccuRoute settings of the default user, select Override default AccuRoute settings.
To allow the user to use the AccuRoute Desktop, select Enable use of the AccuRoute client.
In the Allow user to route to section, select all the options you want to make available to AccuRoute Desktop user.
In the Options section, select Allow unrestricted access to all Embedded Directives on the server to allow the user to view all the Embedded Directives (that is Embedded Directives created by other AccuRoute Desktop users). If you do not select this option, the user can view only the Embedded Directives he/she created.
To allow the user to connect to the AccuRoute Server without authenticating to a mail system, select Allow non-authenticated access to the server. If you do not select this option and the mail server is down, the user cannot access the AccuRoute Desktop.
In the View Columns section, click Configure to open the Client Columns Configuration page.
Add. remove, or rearrange columns or modify column properties in the Recipient List and the Open/Save dialog.
In the Billing section, select Validate/Lookup via to allow the company's document management system or document repository to validate the billing information provided by this user. Select an item from the drop-down list.
Click OK to save your changes.
