Exporting Data using the Right-Click Menu

Some data exploration tools, such as the Data Discovery table or a Venn intersection, have a right-click menu that allows you to quickly take the selected data and use it elsewhere in Audiences. For example:

Where this option is available:

  1. Select the data you wish to export. This could be a section of a Venn diagram or a selection of cells from a data table.

  2. Right-click on your selected data to reveal the right-click menu.

  3. Select an available option from the menu to open a new page or popup with your data pre-populated.

  4. Name and save your new audience, label, etc.

Example: you have a Venn diagram that identifies an overlap of customers appearing in three mailing lists and want to create an audience with those customers.

  1. Select that segment of the diagram.

  2. Right-click and select New audience.

  3. The audience workspace opens on the editor tab with the syntax populated using the data from your intersection.

  4. Edit any properties you wish to modify, e.g. include syntax fields in the results table.

  5. Save your audience.
