Exporting Data using the Right-Click Menu
Some data exploration tools, such as the Data Discovery table or a Venn intersection, have a right-click menu that allows you to quickly take the selected data and use it elsewhere in Audiences. For example:
-
Begin a new audience.
-
Begin a new intersection.
-
Add the selected data to a label.
Where this option is available:
-
Select the data you wish to export. This could be a section of a Venn diagram or a selection of cells from a data table.
-
Right-click on your selected data to reveal the right-click menu.
-
Select an available option from the menu to open a new page or popup with your data pre-populated.
-
Name and save your new audience, label, etc.
Example: you have a Venn diagram that identifies an overlap of customers appearing in three mailing lists and want to create an audience with those customers.
-
Select that segment of the diagram.
-
Right-click and select New audience.
-
The audience workspace opens on the editor tab with the syntax populated using the data from your intersection.
-
Edit any properties you wish to modify, e.g. include syntax fields in the results table.
-
Save your audience.
