Labels

Use labels to identify sets of data and make them available for queries, e.g. to select a pre-defined group for a new audience.

Creating a label

  1. Press the + icon in the main navigation menu.

  2. Select Label from the available options.

  3. In the dialog box, provide a name and description (optional) for the label.

  4. Select the table level for the label.

  5. Select a save location for the label.

    Tip: create folders and subfolders to organise your saved elements.

  6. Press the Save button.

  7. When you identify the data to associate with the label, e.g. through a data discovery, export the data to your label using either:

    Note: the method you use is context dependent, for example:

    • Labelling an audience can be done from the function menu or by right clicking the results count at the top of the workspace.

    • Labelling a section of a Venn diagram is done by right clicking on a segment of the diagram.

Tip: you can also create a new label when you open the label export menu if an appropriate label does not already exist.
