Sending Shopify Orders to Adestra

On-demand: the Shopify integration is currently invitation only. If you are interested in connecting Shopify and Adestra, contact your customer success manager.

After connecting Shopify to Adestra, you will be able to send your order details from Shopify to Adestra to better inform your campaign strategy.

Note: Using Shopify order sync and abandoned cart will result in duplicate transactions.

Enabling order sync

To send orders from Shopify to Adestra:

  1. Open the Adestra app in Shopify and select the Data Sync menu.

    Tip: pin the Adestra app to make it easier to locate in Shopify.

  2. Select the Orders tab.

  3. Check the Enable Order Sync checkbox.

  4. Enter the ID for the Adestra brand associated with your Shopify orders.

    Tip: Adestra brands are found in the Adestra Admin menu). The ID for a brand is found in the brand details when you select a brand.

  5. (Optional) enter a Backstop Date for your order history to limit how much historical data is synced. Orders prior to this date will not be synced.

    If no backstop date is provided, all order history will be synced.

  6. Press the Save Order Sync Settings button.

    When you press the save button, your orders will sync with Adestra. Subsequent syncs will use the last synced order as the starting point.

To stop order sync:

  1. Open the Adestra app in Shopify and select the Data Sync menu.

  2. Select the Orders tab.

  3. Uncheck the Enable Order Sync checkbox.

  4. Press the Save Order Sync Settings button.
