Due to changes made to support vector searches, any Microsoft Azure search engines that you have configured will not work after upgrading from SmartHub 6.0.x to SmartHub 6.1.0.0. When upgrading, use the workaround that is described in How to upgrade SmartHub.

This release adds the functionality and bug fixes that were integrated in SmartHub 5.6.6.0. For more information, see the SmartHub 5.6.6.0 release notes.
The following features and enhancements have been added to SmartHub in this release:
System enhancements
Compatibility with Vector Search | Vector Search for Microsoft Azure Search is now supported in this release of SmartHub. Vector search enables you to embed numeric values onto content to allow for search results based on semantic similarity, rather than keyword matching. Fixed issues

iframe-based Hubs no longer require the user to click Connect Now when loading for the first time. They now leverage Single Sign-On and do not require the user to log in multiple times.

PubMed search engines would not be properly created in SmartHub if the type was specified as "experimental".

Clicking the Connect Now button on the SmartHub work hub for ServiceNow using Microsoft Azure AD, would return an error.

If you configured SmartHub with a SharePoint Online search engine and hover panel functionality, hovering over a user would display the results for the next search result item.

Invalid "OR" operator queries were fixed for the NetDocuments search engine. The queries now return the correct results.

When launching SmartHub from Teams, ServiceNow, or NetDocuments, the authentication process would return an error page.

When you authenticated using an Akumina Hub on a mobile device, the authentication process failed.

The Amazon Kendra search engine can now return more than 10 values for a refiner.
