Setting up WorkSiteRESTV2 Connector

You must first register and add the AccuRouteAPIClient application to the iManage Control Center before setting up the connector in the Server Administrator.

To add the AccuRouteAPIClient application

1. Use the iManage Control Center and go to Settings > Applications.

2. Select +Add Application to add a new application. The Add Application dialog appears.

3. Select Configure Manually to configure the application settings.

4. Specify the following configuration parameters in the appropriate sections.

   • Go to the Application section.

     • Name: HP CR APIClient

     • Client ID: AccuRouteAPIClient

   • Go to the Authentication section.

     • Does this application require authentication with iManage Work? Yes

     • Application Type: Web

     • Client Type: Public

     • Redirect URL: Specify the iManage WorkWeb Client URL.

     • Client Secret: 453e9b86-6b35-f0be-1985-8ec4487029ff

     • Client Secret Expires On: Never Expires

     • Allow Refresh Token: No

     • Access Token Expiry: 30 mins

   • Go to the Security section.

     • Application Access: All Users

5. Select Review to review the configuration parameters, if necessary.

6. Select Finish.

To set up the On-Prem WorkSiteRESTV2 connector

Although you can use the WorkSiteRESTV2 connector for your On-Prem server environment, HP CR recommends that you use the WorkSite connector instead.

1. Start the Server Administrator and right-click Connectors. The Connector shortcut menu appears.

2. Select New HP CR connector > WorkSiteRESTV2. The Create New WorkSiteRESTV2 DMS Connector wizard appears.

3. Select Next. The Display Name dialog box appears.

4. Type a connector name in the Name box, if necessary. (optional)

5. Select Next.

6. Click Finish to create the DMS connector. The WorkSite Login Configuration wizard appears.

7. Ensure Use WorkSite Cloud is not selected.

8. Specify the appropriate URL in the WorkSite Server URL box.

9. Specify your Administrator username and password in the Username and Password boxes.

10. Ensure the Client ID and Client Secret you specified in the iManage Control Center appear in the OnPrem App Registration Information section.

11. Select Next.

Note: The server connects to the iManage WorkSite server after you log in. A message may appear if there are any login or configuration issues. You must resolve any issues before you continue.

12. Ensure the following default options are selected.

    • Retain placeholder profiles in WorkSite after creating an Embedded Directive

    • Default Security

13. Select Finish.

 

You must first register and add the Upland iManage Connector application to the iManage Control Center before setting up the connector in the Server Administrator.

To add the Upland iManage Connector application

1. Use the iManage Control Center and go to Settings > Applications.

2. Select +Add Application to add a new application. The Add Application drop-down list appears.

3. Select Upland iManage Connector.

Note: The Configuration information is retrieved automatically from the uploaded application package.

4. Change the editable properties in Authentication details only if instructed by iManage Support.

   • Allow Refresh Token: No

   • Access Token Expiry: 30 mins

5. Select Access and choose Allow access to All Users.

6. Select Review to review the configuration parameters, if necessary.

7. Select Finish.

To set up the Cloud WorkSiteRESTV2 connector

1. Start the Server Administrator and right-click Connectors. The Connector shortcut menu appears.

3. Select Next. The Display Name dialog box appears.

4. Type a connector name in the Name box, if necessary. (optional)

7. Select the Use WorkSite Cloud check box.

8. Specify your Administrator username and password in the Username and Password boxes.
