Importers

Importers watch for documents and automatically import them into Intelligent Capture. The documents are routed down the workflow that is selected during the importer configuration. Intelligent Capture importers check for new documents every minute.

The following importers are available:

  • Fax Importer: Watches an InterFAX account and automatically imports faxes into Intelligent Capture.
  • IMap Importer: Watches an email inbox accessed with an IMap protocol and automatically imports email attachments in TIFF or PDF format into Intelligent Capture.
  • POP3 Importer: Watches an email inbox accessed with a POP3 protocol and automatically imports email attachments in TIFF or PDF format into Intelligent Capture.

Any user that is assigned to a role with the Manage Importers permission can add, edit, and delete importers.
