Workflow stencils

Stencils are used to build workflow processes. With stencils, you can specify where a document stops, who is responsible for the step, and what actions need to happen when a document passes through a stencil. The connections between stencils determine the path a document will take in the workflow process.

A Start stencil is used to specify the start of a process. A workflow process can only have one start stencil. The stencil is automatically added when a new workflow process is created. The rest of the workflow process is created with action stencils and export stencils.

Each document that is processed through certain action stencils will decrement your license by a number of pages/units as outlined in the following table. See Stencil cost for more information.
