Create a library reference
You can insert a content record's entire content into another content record by using a library reference code. A library reference code is similar to a merge code. It can be copied and pasted into a piece of content for use in a created document or a project.
Tip: When you preview the content record containing the reference code, the referenced content is displayed in the preview. But it will not be obvious that a referenced content is also displayed. To see if a record has referenced content, select View > Library References in the Details panel. The referenced records are listed.
When the content is built at the custom documents level, the library reference content will be inserted where the reference code is placed in the document. In a project, the library references will be inserted when the content record in the library that contains the library reference is dragged into the New RFP workspace.
Note: Library references to Microsoft Excel or PowerPoint content records cannot be added to a Microsoft Word RFP. Library references to PowerPoint slides cannot be added to an Excel RFP.
