Accessing the Menu Bar in the Tenrox Application

The Tenrox application provides a streamlined, easy-to-use Graphical User Interface (GUI) that includes the following:

Menu bar that displays the following menus:

  • Portals
  • Entries
  • Financial
  • Processes
  • Setup
  • Report
  • Tools

    • Note: When a menu is clicked, its icon is highlighted and all its corresponding submenus are displayed in the navigation pane.

  • Help button that opens the online help system and the version information for the installed application, as well as the Tenrox Support Center page
  • Settings button that opens the Settings dialog box; for more information, see Setting Up the Application Preferences and Quick Links in Tenrox
  • Log Off button that closes the application
  • Expand/Collapse arrow button that either displays or hides the menu bar and Tenrox logo when expanded or collapsed respectively

    • Note: The state of the menu (expanded or collapsed) is stored in the system's memory and applied the next time the user logs on.

Top Menu Collapse or Expand from the Same Computer

  • Enables the ability for the selection of either the Collapsed or Expanded view of the top menu to be recalled upon logging on to the application from the same computer.
