Setup Tab (Accessing the Menu Bar in the Tenrox Application)

Setup Tab
The Setup tab has the following options—each with several sub-modules—and is usually either pre-configured, or is set up by the Tenrox Administrator at your site. Setup of your companies processes, products and people is broken down into the Organizational Breakdown Structure and the Work Breakdown Structure.
The modules are Organization, Work, Workforce Planning, Timesheets, Expense, Financial, Purchase and Work Processes. The setup of these modules is all covered under their component parts.
- Organization (System, Sites, Business Units, Groups, Teams, Users, Titles): This is where the OBS (Organizational Breakdown Structure) is setup: items in the organization are labeled and quantified by the Administrator for OBS Setup.
- Work (Clients, Portfolios, Projects, Phases, Work Types, Tasks, Products, Components): This is where the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) is setup: work items are labeled and quantified by the Administrator for WBS Setup.
- Workforce Planning (System, Workflows, Calendars, Holiday Sets, Skills and Skill Sets)
- Timesheets (Workflows, Leave Time, Charges, Breaks, Shifts, Work Schedules and Timesheet Templates)
- Expense (System, Workflows and Expense Items)
- Financial (System, Workflows, Cost Rules, Billing Rules, Currency Exchange and Charges)
- Purchase (System, Requisition Workflows, Purchase Workflows, Purchase Items and Vendors)
- Work Processes
