Notification file types
- Message body - Can be in OMTPL, RTF, DOC, HTM, or HTML file format.
- Subject line - Should be in the WTX file format.
Examples of notification messages
Here are some scenarios where the server will generate a notification message.

An inbound message is routed to you. The server notifies you that you have received an inbound message.
Depending on how the notification template is configured, the inbound message may be attached to the notification message, or the notification message might contain a link to the Web Client where you can view the message. -
You send an outbound message and request notification if your message fails. Now if the message fails, the server sends a notification message to your email account and stops processing the message.

You send an outbound message and request a preview before the server delivers the message to the intended recipients. The server notifies you when the message has been composed and is available for preview.

You send a message that must be approved by an approval manager before the server can further process it for delivery. The server notifies the approval manager when the message has been composed and is available for evaluation. After the approval manager evaluates the message, the server sends you (the message sender) a notification message indicating the outcome of the evaluation.

You send a fax and enable secure delivery, but the recipient has not registered with the server as a secure fax destination. The server sends a notification message to the recipient instructing him to register with the server as a secure destination.

The server routes an inbound fax to FaxCenter and a FaxCenter user routes the fax to you. Now the server sends you a notification message indicating that you have received a fax that was routed to you by a FaxCenter user.
