Creating Outlook Root and Public Folder Profiles Manually

You can create the Root folder for your public folder profiles by using Outlook.

To create the Root folder for the public folder profiles

  1. Using Outlook, create a folder in the public folders.

    You can give the folder any name. For example, you might name it AccuRoute Profiles. This is the root folder where you will place the subfolders and where you will store the public folder profiles.

  2. Publish theUpland AccuRoute forms.

You can create an Outlook public folder profile by using a public folder and profile keywords.

To create an Outlook public folder profile

  1. Using Outlook, navigate to the public folder structure you created for the profiles.

  2. elect one of the subfolders.

  3. From the File menu, select New and then select Post in this folder.

  4. In the Subject line, enter AccuRouteProfile.  

  5. In the message body area, enter the profile keywords followed by the appropriate value or values. A completed public folder profile might look like the following example:

    UseCoverpage True;
    Coverpages DEFAULT:coverpage1^omtoolcoverpage^;
    UseAccess True;
    AccessCodes DEFAULT:554345^54353454^d666^;
    UseBillingCode True;
    BillingCodes DEFAULT:555435435^22222^d234^;
    HoldForPreview True;
    SecureDelivery False;
    StatusURL http://geniweb/omtool/;
    Notification Failed;
    Priority Low^DEFAULT:Normal^High^;
    HoldForApproval True

  6. Click Post to save the profile in the folder.

Note: Do not create more than one profile post in each folder. If there is more than one profile in a folder, AccuRoute fax uses the newest profile.
