Outlook Public Folder Profile Guidelines
You can use the following guidelines to create public folder profiles. The first set of guidelines are syntax guidelines covering how the keywords and values are entered into the profile. The second set of guidelines are requirements for using the features represented by particular keywords.
Syntax
-
The subject line of the message must be AccuRoute Profile.
-
Create only one profile message item in each profile subfolder. If more than one profile exists in a folder, AccuRoute uses the newest one.
-
End each line with a semi-colon (;).
-
If a line contains multiple values, as in a list of choices, separate each value with a caret (^) and place a caret after the final value in the list, followed by a semi-colon to end the line. For example: BillingCode 1234^4567^6789^;
-
In a list of choices, you can indicate the default choice to be used by the form by using the following format:
DEFAULT:value
For example, BillingCode DEFAULT:4567^1234^7809^;
The default applies only to the value immediately following DEFAULT:. -
The order of the keywords in the profile does not matter.
Feature Requirements
-
Cover pages must be stored on the AccuRoute Server in the templates folder.
-
f the cover page template has an .omtpl extension, do not include the extension with the name of the cover page when you add it to a AccuRoute profile. If the extension of the template is anything other than .omtpl (for example, .rtf, .htm, or .html), include the extension with the name of the file.
-
Access codes must match those values assigned to fax board channels with dialing rules. See Creating a dialing rule for more information.
-
Billing codes do not have to match any information entered into the AccuRoute Server system.
-
Setting the secure delivery keyword (SecureDelivery) requires the secure delivery feature to be enabled on AccuRoute. See About Recipient Registration for Secure Delivery.
