Creating a Venn diagram
Use the new intersection function to select a blank Venn diagram canvas and build a Venn intersection.
On the Venn designer tab:
-
Drag-and-drop a data set from your data tree onto the Venn canvas.
-
If there is valid data in your selection, the canvas will update to display a count of records in the segment.
-
Continue adding data sets to the canvas, up to a maximum of 5.
As you add sets, the diagram will expand to display the overlap between data sets and the count within each overlapping and non-overlapping segment.
Tip: right-click a segment to open the right-click menu and change from count to percent view.
-
When you are happy with your intersection, press the Save or Save as button in the function menu.
-
Enter a name for your intersection.
-
Enter a description.
Tip: you can also enter a description in the properties pane. This description will pre-populate the field when saving.
-
Select a location to save the intersection within Audiences.
Tip: create folders and subfolders to organise your saved elements.
-
Press the Save button.
Tip: you can also use the right-click menu to export intersection data.
