Programs Overview

A Program groups related Projects together so they can be managed as a whole unit.

Note: These are not to be confused with Portfolios, which group together Projects or Programs that are not necessarily similar or interrelated. The scope of Portfolio Management is broader than that of Programs because it has an organization-wide scope. Portfolios enable organizations to better analyze and evaluate the overall effectiveness of Projects and to what extent these Projects align with the strategic objectives of the organization.
