Delete a Portfolio

Portfolios that are no longer required can be deleted from PowerSteering. Once deleted, a Portfolio cannot be recovered. It will need to be created again.

Tip: If you would like to make a Portfolio temporarily unavailable instead of deleting it, consider disabling the Portfolio instead.

To delete a Portfolio:

Before You Start: Any PowerSteering user can delete their own Portfolios. However, they can only delete other Portfolios if the Portfolio has been shared with them and "Editable by sharees" has been enabled.
Users with the "Portfolio Administration" Context permission will still be able to access and delete the Portfolio regardless of whether it is shared with them.

  1. Select Review → Portfolios from the Navigation Menu.

  2. Select the triple-dot icon of the Portfolio you would like to delete.

    Note: If the Portfolio you would like to delete is not listed on your Portfolios page, it may not be shared with you.

  3. Select Delete.

    Note: If Delete is not an option, the Portfolio owner did not make the Portfolio editable by sharees.

  4. Select Yes from the "Delete Confirmation" window.

After selecting Yes, the Portfolio will be deleted from PowerSteering. It can no longer be applied to Dashboards, Executive Reviews, Financial Reviews, or Reports.
