Reporting
There are three ways to develop reports from the information housed in PowerSteering. Each function provides different levels of information available in the system.
- Basic project information such as name, ID, details, status, dates, tags, custom fields, and team members (in lists) can be generated using the Report Wizard.
- Advanced Reports can be created using either the Reports Wizard or Advanced Custom Reports based on .jrxml templates that have already been created in a third-party application, iReport from Jaspersoft.
- Additional reports created by using the Data Extract, which pulls the Project, Tags, Custom Fields and Metrics data; each row is includes project, metric template, metric view, metric line item, beneficiary, and metric period. Results are stored in plain text files with configurable delimiters (similar to CSV format).
