Reporting

There are three ways to develop reports from the information housed in PowerSteering. Each function provides different levels of information available in the system.


Examples of the PowerSteering Report Wizard and Advanced Custom Report.

  • Basic project information such as name, ID, details, status, dates, tags, custom fields, and team members (in lists) can be generated using the Report Wizard.
  • Advanced Reports can be created using either the Reports Wizard or Advanced Custom Reports based on .jrxml templates that have already been created in a third-party application, iReport from Jaspersoft.
  • Additional reports created by using the Data Extract, which pulls the Project, Tags, Custom Fields and Metrics data; each row is includes project, metric template, metric view, metric line item, beneficiary, and metric period. Results are stored in plain text files with configurable delimiters (similar to CSV format).
