Configuring a Security Profile
Security Profiles assign different access rights to users within an organization based on their level of responsibility. For example, users may be consultants, managers, team leaders, or senior executives. Depending on the assigned Security Profile, users can be granted access or restricted from certain modules and system features in PSA.
The out-of-the-box Security Profiles are listed in the table below, which indicates whether you can Edit, Delete, or Copy each role.

New Security Profiles can also be configured, and any out-of-the-box Security Profile—except for the Administrator Security Profile—can be edited to meet your organization's requirements.
Tip: Copying a security profile is a quick and efficient way to create Security Profiles with similar components. By copying an existing security profile, you can preserve the settings of the original profile and only make the necessary changes.
